Interstate Delivery & Order Policy
This policy explains how interstate orders are delivered by Wild Imports when shipping goods from Tasmania to customers anywhere in Australia. We’ve kept it simple and clear so you know exactly what to expect.
1. Where We Deliver To
- All interstate deliveries are made from Tasmania to the nearest freight depot that services your location.
- We do not deliver to home or business street addresses.
- Once your order arrives, collection is your responsibility from the nominated depot closest to you.
2. Freight Arrangements
- Freight is organised using third-party transport companies chosen by Wild Imports.
- Freight costs are not included in the product price, unless clearly stated in writing.
- A freight quote will be provided before dispatch, based on the size, weight, destination, and handling requirements of your order.
3. Freight Charges & Payment
- All freight charges must be paid in full before your order is dispatched from Tasmania.
- Orders will not be shipped until payment for both the goods and freight has been received.
- Freight quotes are time-sensitive and may change if dispatch is delayed or carrier rates change.
4. Order Processing & Dispatch
- Orders are confirmed and processed once full payment has been received.
- Estimated dispatch timeframes will be advised at the time of order confirmation.
- Please note that dispatch and delivery times are estimates only and may be affected by factors outside our control, such as weather, shipping schedules, or carrier availability.
5. Depot Collection – Your Responsibilities
When collecting your order from the depot, you are responsible for:
- Collecting the goods promptly once notified they are ready.
- Bringing a suitable vehicle, trailer, lifting equipment, and load restraints.
- Following all safety rules and procedures set by the freight depot.
Any storage, waiting, or additional handling fees charged by the freight company due to delayed collection will be passed on to the customer.
6. Risk & Ownership
- Responsibility for the goods transfers to you once they leave our Tasmanian facility.
- Ownership of the goods transfers once full payment (including freight) has been received, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
7. Inspection & Damage Claims
- Please inspect your goods at the depot before or at the time of collection.
- If there is visible damage, it must be noted with the freight provider before leaving the depot.
- Any damage claims must be reported to Wild Imports within 24 hours of collection, along with photos and relevant freight paperwork.
8. Changes or Cancellations
- Changes or cancellations requested after freight has been booked may result in additional costs.
- Any extra charges caused by changes will need to be paid before dispatch.
9. General
- Wild Imports may update this policy from time to time without notice.
- By placing an order with Wild Imports, you agree to the terms outlined in this Interstate Delivery & Order Policy.
