key features

1,500KG MAXIMUM CAPACITY Impressive lifting capability from a compact 1.7-tonne tracked platform.
ONLY 650MM WIDE Designed to access narrow entrances, confined worksites and restricted lifting areas.
COMPLETE SAFETY PACKAGE Torque limiter, screen remote control, outrigger lift alarm and three-wrap rope protection included.

Big crane capability in a compact machine

Measuring only 2,500 mm long, 650 mm wide and 1,500 mm high in its transport configuration, the WPS-150 can access locations where conventional mobile cranes cannot operate.
The compact crawler chassis allows the machine to pass through narrow entrances and restricted work areas. Once positioned, four articulated outriggers extend to create a wide and stable spider-style lifting platform.
Its combination of compact access, hydraulic crawler travel and controlled lifting performance makes the WPS-150 ideal for construction, glazing, machinery installation, building maintenance and specialised material handling.

Four-section telescopic boom

The WPS-150 features a hydraulically operated four-section telescopic boom with a maximum stated length of 6.5 metres.
A boom elevation range of 0-78 degrees provides excellent positioning flexibility, while continuous 360-degree rotation allows loads to be placed around the crane without repeatedly repositioning the tracked chassis.
Key lifting capabilities include:
  • Maximum rated lifting capacity of 1,500 kg
  • Maximum working radius of 6 metres
  • Maximum stated lifting height of 6.5 metres
  • Four-section hydraulic telescopic boom
  • Continuous 360-degree rotation
  • Hydraulic boom extension and elevation
  • Adjustable hook speed from 0-8 metres per minute
  • Four-part steel wire-rope reeving
The 1,500 kg rating applies only under the corresponding short-radius configuration. Available capacity reduces as boom length and working radius increase.

Rated-capacity and torque-limiting system

A rated-capacity and torque-limiting system is included as standard.
The system continually monitors the crane’s operating geometry and load condition. The colour display provides the operator with important information including boom position, working radius and load status.
Audible and visual warnings alert the operator as the crane approaches its programmed lifting limit. Where designed into the system, unsafe crane movements are restricted to help prevent operation outside the approved capacity envelope.
The torque limiter assists the operator but does not replace the crane’s rated-capacity chart, lift planning or appropriate operator competency.

Screen-equipped proportional remote control

The Wild Imports WPS-150 includes proportional wireless remote control with an integrated colour information screen.
The remote allows the operator to select a suitable viewing position around the crane and suspended load, improving visibility during lifting and final placement.
The controller combines proportional function switches with live crane information, providing smoother control and improved awareness compared with a basic remote-control system.
Manual machine-mounted controls remain available as a backup operating system.

Outrigger lift alarm

The WPS-150 is fitted with an outrigger lift alarm as standard.
The system monitors the crane’s support condition and warns the operator if an outrigger loses firm contact with its supporting surface during operation.
This provides an important early warning of changing ground support, incorrect setup or developing crane instability.
The alarm does not remove the requirement to:
  • Assess ground-bearing capacity
  • Correctly level the crane
  • Fully position the outriggers
  • Use suitable outrigger mats where required
  • Monitor ground and support conditions throughout the lift

Three-wrap winch-rope protection

A three-wrap wire-rope protection system is included as standard.
This safety device monitors the amount of wire rope remaining on the winch drum during lowering. It provides a warning or lower-limit protection before the rope is paid out beyond the required minimum number of wraps.
Maintaining at least three wraps on the drum helps prevent the rope termination from being subjected to the full lifting load and reduces the risk of the rope being released from the winch drum.

Four-outrigger stability system

Four articulated outriggers transform the compact crawler crane into a wide and stable lifting platform.
The supplier specifies a maximum deployed footprint of approximately:
  • 3,600 mm longitudinal spread
  • 3,400 mm front spread
  • 3,400 mm rear spread
Hydraulic deployment provides efficient setup, while manually adjustable screw-type feet allow final positioning and levelling.
Suitable outrigger mats or engineered support must be used where required by the supporting surface and planned lift.

Hydraulic crawler undercarriage

The compact hydraulic crawler drive provides controlled machine travel across suitable prepared surfaces.
Its 650 mm overall width allows access through narrow areas, while the 180 mm rubber tracks distribute the crane’s approximately 1,700 kg operating weight across a larger ground-contact area.
Travel specifications include:
  • Hydraulic crawler drive
  • Rubber tracks
  • Maximum travel speed of 2.5 km/h
  • Track width of 180 mm
  • Stated travelling gradeability of 25 degrees or 36%
The gradeability figure applies to machine travel only. Lifting operations must be performed on an appropriately assessed, supported and levelled surface with the outriggers correctly deployed.

Safety and Australian operation

The WPS-150 is professional lifting equipment and must be commissioned, inspected, maintained and operated in accordance with:
  • The manufacturer’s instructions
  • The supplied rated-capacity charts
  • Applicable Australian workplace requirements
  • Operator licensing requirements
  • Site-specific lift planning
  • Ground-bearing assessments
  • Inspection and maintenance schedules
Depending on the jurisdiction and lifting task, operation may require an appropriate high-risk work licence. Dogging or rigging competency may also be required.
The complete Wild Imports safety package assists the operator but does not override the rated-capacity chart, safe setup procedures or the requirement for competent operation.

CE and Australian compliance

For Australian commercial supply, the crane will require appropriate English documentation, capacity charts, machine markings, safety information and verification of the supplied safety systems.
CE certification does not automatically establish Australian workplace compliance. The machine must still satisfy applicable Australian plant-safety obligations and be suitable for its intended use.

Important lifting-capacity notice

The stated 1,500 kg capacity is the crane’s maximum rated capacity and is available only under the corresponding short-radius boom configuration.
Lifting capacity reduces as:
  • Working radius increases
  • Boom length increases
  • Boom angle changes
  • Crane setup changes
  • Ground and supporting conditions change
The supplied load chart indicates a capacity of approximately 250 kg at the maximum 6-metre working radius. Operators must always refer to the load chart for the crane’s exact configuration before performing a lift.
