The CDY-35 3.5T 4WD Rough Terrain Forklift is built for demanding outdoor worksites, combining serious lifting capacity with excellent traction and manoeuvrability. Featuring 3,500kg lift capacity, four-wheel drive, 320mm ground clearance, Side Shift and a Hydraulic Fork Positioner, it is ideal for construction sites, farms, timber yards, civil works and industrial applications. Powered by a 36.8kW Quanchai turbo diesel engine with a hydraulic torque-converter transmission, the CDY-35 delivers dependable performance across uneven and unsealed terrain.

The 3.5T 4WD Rough Terrain Forklift combines serious lifting capacity with four-wheel drive, high ground clearance, heavy-duty off-road tyres and a compact rear-steer design.
This latest configuration is fitted with Side Shift and a Hydraulic Fork Positioner, allowing the operator to accurately position both the carriage and fork spacing hydraulically from the driver’s seat.
It is a practical, heavy-duty material handling solution for construction sites, farms, rural properties, timber yards, building supply yards, civil works, machinery yards and outdoor industrial applications.
3,500 kg Rated Capacity
The Forklift has a rated lifting capacity of 3,500 kg at a 600 mm load centre, providing the capacity required for pallets, building materials, machinery, bulk products and general industrial loads.
Available mast configurations provide lifting heights from 3,000 mm through to 6,000 mm, depending on the specification selected.
A heavy-duty 160 mm reinforced mast section provides additional strength for demanding applications.
Genuine 4WD Rough Terrain Capability
The Forklift is designed specifically for work where conventional warehouse forklifts can struggle.
Its four-wheel-drive system, 320 mm ground clearance and large 20.5/70-16 semi-solid tyres provide the traction and clearance needed to operate across unsealed yards, gravel, compacted soil and uneven work sites.

Side Shift as Standard
Side Shift allows the entire fork carriage to move left or right hydraulically.
Instead of repeatedly repositioning the complete forklift to line up with a pallet or load, the operator can make fine lateral adjustments from the driver's seat.
That means:
- Faster pallet alignment
- More accurate load placement
- Less manoeuvring in tight spaces
- Reduced operator effort
- Improved productivity during repetitive loading work
Hydraulic Fork Positioner
The Forklift is also fitted with a Hydraulic Fork Positioner.
This allows the operator to hydraulically adjust the spacing between the forks from the driving position.
There is no need to continually climb out of the forklift and manually reposition the forks when changing between different pallet or load widths.
Combined with Side Shift, the hydraulic fork positioner provides substantially greater flexibility when handling different loads throughout the working day.
Quanchai Turbo Diesel Power
Power comes from a Quanchai 495 turbocharged diesel engine with high-pressure common-rail fuel delivery.
Rated output is 36.8 kW, providing the torque required for heavy lifting and rough-terrain operation.
The engine is matched to a 280 high/low-range hydraulic torque-converter transmission, designed to provide smooth power delivery and straightforward operation in changing site conditions.
Compact Rear-Steer Design
Despite its heavy-duty construction and approximately 5.6 to 5.9 tonne operating weight, the Forklift remains highly manoeuvrable.
A 2,500 mm minimum turning radius, 1,697 mm wheelbase and rear-axle steering make it particularly useful in confined yards and work areas where a larger machine can become difficult to manoeuvre.
