Purchase and Refund Policy for Wild Imports
General Overview
At Wild Imports, we aim to provide the most cost-efficient pricing and shipping options while ensuring efficient use of resources. To maintain this, all containers are filled to capacity before orders are shipped. Please review the following terms and conditions prior to placing an order:
Container Fill Policy
• All orders are consolidated and shipped only when the container is full.
• A 20% deposit is required upon placing an order.
• A further 30% payment is required upon notification of shipment.
• The remaining 50% balance is payable prior to collection of goods.
• Our fair refund policy applies to all standard item orders.
Shipping Timeframe
Orders typically arrive within 90 to 120 days from order placement, depending on container fill status.
This timeframe does not include delays due to unforeseen circumstances such as:
• Inclement weather
• Port delays
• Customs clearance
• Other uncontrollable events
We will notify you once the container is full and ready for shipment, at which point the 30% shipping payment is due.
Order Updates
We will keep you informed throughout the ordering process, particularly if there are any delays in container fill or shipping.
Order Fulfillment
All website prices include GST and shipping based on our container fill policy.
If you require immediate shipment, we can quote separate freight costs. These will incur additional charges payable prior to dispatch.
Standard Item – Purchase & Refund Policy
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Please note:
Deposit Requirement:
• 20% deposit at order placement
• 30% prior to shipping
• Balance due before pickup or delivery
Satisfaction Guarantee:
• If you are not satisfied with your standard item upon arrival, you may request a refund of your deposit.
• Refunds will only be processed after the item is resold.
• A $500 resale fee applies to items over $4,000.
• A $250 resale fee applies to items under $4,000.
Custom, Unusual & Non-Refundable Items
Non-Refundable:
• Custom-manufactured products made to your specifications
• Items deemed “unusual” or non-resalable by Wild Imports
• You will be informed if your item falls into this category before placing your order
Payment Terms:
• Full payment is required at the time of order placement.
• By placing an order, the customer acknowledges acceptance of all terms and product specifications.
Refund Process (Standard Items)
To request a refund:
1. Notify Wild Imports at 0419 188 420.
2. Refunds will be processed once the item is resold, minus applicable resale fees.
3. Items must be returned in their original, unused, brand-new condition.
4. Refunds will be issued via the original payment method only.
Delivery & Collection Policy
Website prices include GST and freight to our Hobart warehouse for customer collection.
Delivery beyond the warehouse is available at additional cost, quoted on request and payable before dispatch.
Safety First – Collection Guidelines
At Wild Imports, safety is paramount.
If your vehicle or trailer does not comply with Tasmanian Road Safety Laws, your item will not be loaded.
Requirements include:
• Correct weight rating
• Electric brakes (where required by law)
• Working lights
• Rated tie-downs to secure the item
No exceptions will be made.
